One of the many projects I’ve been working on during the last 4 months is a very special project, RE:GENERATIONS NAT KING COLE CD on Capitol Records. <\/p>\n

Its a unique project that can’t really be categorized. Musicians such as Nas, Bebel Gilberto, TV on the Radio, Cut Chemist, Brazilian Girls and more lend their talents to join forces with Nat and take some of his songs to new galaxies. <\/p>\n

Along with bringing various musicians together, the project also brought visual artists together to create some original art pieces inspired by the new tracks. I had the honor of working along side Man One(he created a special mural on the Capitol Records property that is also include in the package design), Overton Loyd, Gustavo Alberto Garcia Vaca and Sage Zailm Cole. The pieces are included in the special packaging. I also had the honor of designing the package.<\/p>\n

It was a special journey and I’d like to thank Carole Cole for her vision, for her hustle and grind to fight for what she wanted, for her respect for all the musicians and visual artists and for the great hospitality. Susan Lavoie for being one of the best art directors I’ve ever worked with. All the visual artists for letting me be on board and representing for the females. Tom Recchion and everyone at Capitol for everything. Jen Vylasek for always being a pleasure. Last but for sure not least, Nat King Cole for inspiring me to travel to new dreamscapes. Wow the day has finally come.<\/p>\n
